A Birthday Wish Came True

Years ago, I told my Aunt Marie that it would be REALLY cool to get a bowl full of unwrapped Starburst candy; I've always thought it would be extremely difficult to restrain yourself from eating half of the candy before the bowl filled.

Well, Marie and my Cousin Tony spent some time unwrapping Starburst candy and presented the bowl pictured above to me at a family gathering over the weekend.

Because I feel confident no one reading this has ever had a bowl of unwrapped Starburst candy placed in front of them, I can tell you that you actually don't eat as many as you'd think.

I figured you'd eat them a lot quicker if they were all unwrapped, but with taffy that just isn't the case - at least for me.
