I've been hosting the Afternoon Show on Y105 for more than seven years! I have a beautiful wife, Claudia, and adorable daughter, Lydia. I've lived in Dubuque for over a decade and I absolutely love this city! I host Hawkeye games at Lot One on Saturdays in the fall, 'The Dating Game' at Skinny Maginny's one Tuesday a month and can be found pushing a stroller on walks along South Grandview from time-to-time. I'm a passionate Minnesota Vikings fan (and Twins, Wild and Wolves), but truly appreciate having a fun conversation with the adversary (Bears, Packers fans).

Hawkeyes Football Games at Lot One
Hawkeyes football returned last weekend and it got off to a great start at the Hawks sent the Illinois State Redbirds flying back to Normal, IL losers!
As I've done for nearly every game for the last 5 years, I watched the game at Lot One at 100 Main St...
My Annual Closet Rearrangement
In late August, something happens in my closet; something so subtle my wife probably doesn't even notice until a week or two after it happens; something that gets me excited for my favorite time of the year: my Vikings jerseys/polo shirt get re-positioned from the back of my closet to the easily-accessible middle...
Tomorrow Night’s Prep Preview on ‘The Jeff Robb Show’
Tomorrow (Friday) night, Tim O'Neill from the Telegraph Herald will join me and my co-host, Jon Atkinson, in-studio to preview the area's high school football teams on AM 1490 WDBQ! If you, a family member or friend will be playing on an area team, you should probably tune in and you might hear your/their name...
Chili Tasted So Good Last Night
Yesterday's low-60's weather made me excited for fall, football, long-sleeved t-shirts, jeans and chili. I LOVE chili. My wife, Claudia, actually uses two different recipes she's acquired over the years and both are outstanding (so good I forgot to take a picture of her creation for this blog post...
This is My Kind of Weather!
This summer has been mild temperature-wise, but I'm already over the 80+ degree weather. Sure, I might look back at this blog post in four months and cringe, but I'm ready for the borderline shorts/pants, long-sleeved t-shirt, football weather...
‘Stuff the Bus’ Was a HUGE Success!
Over the past few weeks, Y105 has been asking Tri-State residents to donate school supplies for local children in need as part of our 'Stuff the Bus' campaign.
As you can see from the picture above, our generous listeners stepped up in a BIG way!!! O...
Sunday Night I Fulfilled a Dream
I'm a passionate Minnesota Vikings fan. From the day I heard I was going to be a father, I dreamed about having my child watch a game with me and, someday, attend a game all dressed up in Vikings gear.
Sunday night, the Vikings played the Pittsburgh Steelers in a mostly meaningless Hall of Fame pre-season game in Canton, OH...
Our View Before the Jason Derulo Concert
I shot this video ten minutes before we went on stage to bring out Jason Derulo at the 62nd Annual Dubuque County Fair. I figured this was a perspective not everyone has experienced; 5,000+ people waiting impatiently for a pop star to emerge...
Dubuque County Fair Fare
The Dubuque County Fair - as every fair should - has some great food options. Something new this year is that you can get in FREE from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. to grab some lunch with co-workers and not have to pay a gate fee!
I recommend stopping by the Hy-Vee food stand and enjoying their excellent menu...
And So It Begins (Again); The Dubuque County Fair
Last year was my first year not broadcasting live at the Dubuque County Fair since I moved here to work in radio in early 2005; I was covering for Chris Farber on the Y105 Wake Up and we had our Afternoon Show fill-in, Aaron, take over.
I missed it...
