Bergfeld Pond

When my parents visit from Rochester, MN, we enjoy good food/drink, relaxing and getting outside to go on a walk. One place we truly enjoy is Bergfeld Pond.

There are two ways to access the hiking trail: off Chavenelle Road (where the pond is located) or off Pennsylvania Avenue at the end of the bike/hike trail.

The trail is 1.9 miles with an added .8 miles if you choose to circle the pond. If you like to fish, the pond is stocked and features two accessible fishing jetties for your convenience.

Of course, there's also a playground for the kids!
