Better Them Than Us

I know it will sound cold when I say this... (pun intended)... but when it comes to the snowstorm hitting the east coast...

... I say better them than us!

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to see anyone get severe weather, but if it's going to land somewhere, anywhere is better than here!

Besides, we've had more than our fair share of heavy snowfalls.  (Case-in-point, see the photo above.)  I remember blowing so much snow up onto my tiny lawn that I thought I was going to get to the point of not getting the snow up on top of the mounds.

Impassable roads, frozen pipes and school closings...

So again, it may sound mean to say it, but better them than us!
