Yahoo News reports that once upon a time, Beyoncé was the top choice for a role in the live action Beauty And The Beast movie which debuted earlier this year, but it didn't happen because the part wasn't big enough.

Apparently, director Bill Condon, who worked with Bey on Dream Girls wanted her for the role of a feather duster, but the part wasn't big enough... because of course it wasn't.  It ended up going to the fabulous Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Beyond The Lights, A Wrinkle in Time) instead. It's kind of weird that Condon wanted Bey to be a "feather duster" given her star power but okay.

At any rate, Beyoncé has stayed busy, giving birth to twins and helping to raise money for hurricane ravished Puerto Rico. She also recently celebrated International Day of the Girl with a new video for her song "Freedom" which is featured on Lemonade.
