Big Sean and his mother Myra Anderson want to introduce their Mogul Prep curriculum to students around the country. The two will embark on an experimental tour of four cities in an effort to encourage school districts to implement the program.

Mogul Prep is an educational curriculum designed to give students a pathway to jobs in the entertainment industry. The program introduces students to industry leaders and provides 100 hours of common core and CTAE aligned curriculum.

“I am grateful to be able to provide an educational program that today's students can easily relate to,” Big Sean said. “Mogul Prep is relevant and real world. I hope students enjoy Mogul Prep, and most importantly, I hope it helps them reach the success that they are meant for.”

A pilot program for Mogul Prep began in November 2015 in Detroit. The curriculum is meant to appeal to the sensibilities of students while still providing them with valuable lessons.

“As a former teacher, I know how difficult it is for teachers to develop lesson plans that consistently keep students actively engaged and are aligned to core standards,” Anderson said. “I also know how powerful providing students with a relevant and real world learning experience can be. I am happy to say that Mogul Prep solves both of these problems.”
