BTS member Rap Monster—also known as RM—dropped a surprise English-language collaboration with American rapper Wale on Sunday, March 19 (Monday, March 20 at midnight KST), proving his international crossover potential in a massive politically-charged East-meets-West rap banger.

The two hip hop superstars share an incredible chemistry on the emotive track as they trade verses and come together to harmonize on the chorus, lamenting the need for the world to change, skewering the "alt-right and racist police."

"The world has gotta change," Rap Monster pleads on the breakdown amid a flurry of skittering, funky synths and throbbing beats.

At one point, Wale even shouts out BTS' fandom, the Army.

According to Soompi, Wale travelled to Seoul to work on the music video with Rap Monster, the visual for which appeared on Big Hit Entertainment's YouTube channel this morning.

In a press release, Rap Monster gushed about working with Wale, saying, "I extended the invitation for Wale to join me in Korea to meet and record and shoot the video.  We are from different cultures, countries and ethnic backgrounds, but what we have in common is a shared love of music and life. I am proud to share this music with the world and proud to say that my new friend Wale is someone I admire.  We had great fun together making the song and shooting the video."
