Catching Up With Leeza Gibbons

What a pleasant surprise this morning on the Y105 Wake Up!  Leeza Gibbons called in to catch up.

I think most of us best remember her as a correspondent and co-host for Entertainment Tonight as well as having her own syndicated daytime talk show, Leeza.

Early last year, Leeza was even crowned champion of Celebrity Apprentice, beating out runner-up Geraldo Rivera.  She raised an amazing $714,000 for her charity Leeza's Care Connection.

So what is she up to these days?  Not only does she still host her own radio show, Hollywood Confidential, but she has also been tapped to host the Rose Parade.

Ultimately, the reason for our chat turned to her new venture, being the face of Philips Healthcare.

Leeza's dad lives in South Carolina and she constantly worried about him.  After he collapsed due to a heart attack, he only survived due to the fact he was using their medical alert system.

Now Leeza uses her new platform to remind people that you can have peace of mind if you have an elderly friend or family member with their product.
