The feud between Drake and Pusha-T may be over but that isn't stopping some artists from weighing in. Calling in to The Breakfast Club on Thursday (June 7), Diddy spoke about the beef and said it reminded him of the feud between The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur.

While Diddy admits Drizzy took an L for not responding to Push's "The Story of Adidon" diss, the rapper adds that Drake did the right thing by taking J. Prince's advice to not release his own track. "If you're trying to be the best MC, there's gonna be battles," Diddy said. "At this juncture in time, it's kinda safe. When we was having battles, it was getting unsafe."

Diddy revealed that Drake getting an "OG call" from J. Prince was similar to him telling Biggie not to respond to Pac's "Hit 'Em Up" diss. "He should listen to J. Prince because I was in that same position," he said. "I was in that same position with ['Hit 'Em Up'] and I told Big not to respond, so I can understand."

Over the weekend, J. Prince insisted he was the reason Drake didn't respond to Pusha. After the Daytona rapper dropped his scathing diss, J. Prince says he didn't want Drizzy to "get in the pig pen with pigs." The Rap-A-Lot Records CEO added, "We ain't work this hard to cheat ourselves over nothing. You know what I mean? So, that's the way that is."
