Drake Accused of Stealing 'Scary Hours' Art from Houston Producer

Drake is being accused of jacking a design for his Scary Hours EP, which he released on Friday (Jan. 19).

A Houston producer named Rabit called out Drizzy for allegedly stealing the artwork from his 2015 Communion Tour and using for his EP. On his Instagram page, Rabit posted a side by side comparison of his artwork to Drake's EP cover art.

"Today I wake up to see OVO has redone one of my 2015 tour posters designed by @collindfletcher for Drake's new single," he wrote in the caption. "Poor Collin is always having his style stolen. Lol BUT I love being part of a team that's so creative and iconic."

"Collin" is Collin Fletcher who actually designed the artwork you see above. He hasn't officially addressed the alleged theft by Drake, but he did give thanks to his friends who have been supporting him. "Friends - endless thanks for the kind words, shares, and encouragement!" he wrote on his IG account.

Meanwhile, Rabit told Pitchfork that this type of artistic theft happens all the time with indie artists.

"This is a story that too many artists, musicians, and designers identify with," he said. "Hopefully this results in a larger conversation about popular culture's relationship to underground artists."

Looking at the photo above, it's hard to refute Rabit's claims. Drake's cover art is almost a dead ringer for Rabit's 2015 concert tour poster.

Reps for Drake had no comment on the matter.
