Before Eminem hits the stage on Saturday Night Live, he sat down for an interview with Shade45's DJ Whoo Kid, Lord Sear and the Alchemist. Slim Shady talked about a myriad of topics including his collaboration with Beyoncé on "Walk on Water."

“First of all, Beyoncé is amazing,” he said. “It’s been on my wish list for a long time, but I never really had a song that I felt would be right to present to her. I was kind of waiting and then me and Paul [Rosenberg] kicked the idea around after I finished it. Based off what it was about, I felt like she probably could relate to this, too.”

“Everything she does is so perfect," he continued. "But, the pressures behind that, for her to do it so perfect, I felt like she could probably relate to that. I told her, ‘I’ve never seen you make a mistake before, ever, performance wise, everything.’ Every song she puts out, every album, it’s so calculated and precise. Everything’s always so perfect.”

Eminem is also talked about the state of hip-hop, which he says is good right now. "I try to stay on top of everything that's out," he stated.

As for his anti-Trump freestyle at the 2017 BET Hip-Hop Awards, Em acknowledged that he was indeed angry when he performed it, but he's even more frustrated that President Trump hasn't respond to him yet.

“I can’t stand that motherfucker,” he said. "I was kinda waiting for him to saying something. But for some reason, he didn't say anything."
