In a battle of rock titans, Foo Fighters emerged victorious as “Run” bested Metallica’s “Now That We’re Dead” to win last week’s Loudwire Cage Match. The band’s new high energy rocker from their upcoming Concrete and Gold album feels like a perfect fit in their catalog, but can it put together a Cage Match win streak?

They’ll face off against another of rock’s biggest bands – Green Day. The group is currently hitting with the frenetic and highly catchy title track from their Revolution Radio album with a song that should get your toes tapping. The rousing rocker has been keeping the energy high during the band’s touring.

So who will it be? Do Foo Fighters have what it takes to put together a run for “Run” or will Green Day start a Cage Match revolution with “Revolution Radio?” Listen to both in the players provided, then vote in the poll below.

(This Cage Match will run through Aug. 7 at 2PM ET. Fans can vote once per hour! So come back and vote often to make sure your favorite song wins!)

Foo Fighters, “Run”

Green Day, “Revolution Radio”

Rules of Cage Match:
Fans can vote once per hour for their favorite song. If a song remains the reigning champ for five straight Cage Matches, it is retired to the Loudwire Cage Match Hall of Fame. With so many great songs out there, we have to give other bands a chance!
