Hawkeyes Football Games at Lot One

Hawkeyes football returned last weekend and it got off to a great start at the Hawks sent the Illinois State Redbirds flying back to Normal, IL losers!

As I've done for nearly every game for the last 5 years, I watched the game at Lot One at 100 Main St. in downtown Dubuque, IA.

In 2011, I was asked to come down to the bar during games and give prizes away and announce food/drink specials. Five years later, I could spend hours recalling all of the great memories I've experienced watching college football at Lot One.

Ask any sports fan what makes a great bar and they'll probably give you all of the reasons I'll list as to why Lot One should be your Hawkeye Headquarters: cozy confines of the bar, amazing atmosphere, stellar service and fantastic food make Lot One THE place to watch Hawkeye football games.

Of course, winning a cupcake from Candle Ready Cakes, a free beer, a t-shirt or Hawkeye hat doesn't hurt too!
