Join Y105 For The Inaugural ‘Snowshoe Ball 5k’ Event

Everybody gets bummed out when winter arrives.  How do you get your 5k-fix during the winter months?  Look no further than Klarifly’s inaugural ‘Snowshoe Ball 5k’ on Saturday, December 20^th!

Join Y105 at Lacoma Golf Course for all the fun.  The event begins at 10am and participants have the option to walk, run or snowshoe the 5k course, with proceeds to support local cancer patients through the Klarifly foundation.

For those who don’t know, Klarifly Foundation offers cancer patients a choice in their cancer care.  Klarifly helps patients drive their own destiny through support in clarifying their purpose and meaning in their fight against cancer.

Studies suggest that having a sense of purpose may help one live longer.  Klarifly coaches use innovative techniques to ensure patients have their optimal mindset to overcome cancer.  Members are eligible to utilize services of local professional partners who can serve in the areas of stress/pain management, physical activity, nutrition and social and financial support.

The ‘Snowshoe Ball 5k’ is open to adults and kids.  It will be followed by music, mimosas, hot drinks, fruit and yummies!  Spectators are welcome, too.

There will also be prizes and a visit from Santa!
