The weather in Miami is hot but Kendrick Lamar brought some more heat with his high-octane performance at the annual Rolling Loud Festival on Saturday (April 6). The Compton rapper was the main headliner for the second day of the festival that featured performances from Joey Bada$$, Run the Jewels, Young Thug and others.

According to the Miami Herald, Lamar didn’t disappoint with his energetic set that consisted of hits from his three celebrated albums, good kid, m.A.A.d city, To Pimp a Butterfly and Damn., his most recent project. The 29-year-old rapper kicked off his set with “DNA” and segueing into “Element” and “King Kunta.” K.Dot finished his set with the anthemic “Humble,” while pyrotechnics and fireworks lit up the sky.

On Day One of the festival, A$AP Rocky and Lil Wayne graced the stage to give concertgoers two electrifying shows. According to Billboard, Rocky’s delivered a banged up show as he took the crowd on a musical trip of his rap catalog with a projector displaying colorful images and vibes on a big screen.

Meanwhile, Lil Wayne returned to his second home and he was greeted with a warm reception from the Miami fans. Tunechi plowed through an array of hits including “Mr. Carter,” “Believe Me, “HYFR” and “Go DJ.” Wayne also got political during his set, telling the crowd that he wrote a letter to President Trump about his plan to repeal of Obamacare. But Wayne got right back into his groove and performed his classic track “A Milli” before closing out with “No Worries.”
