Kodak Black's lawyer is calling foul play.

According to TMZ, the rapper's attorney Bradford Cohen, believes the circumstances surrounding his client's arrest were very sketchy, and now he wants the chance to take depositions from the three arresting officers. He's apparently already put in the paperwork to make that happen.

One of the questions Cohen wants answered is, why, exactly, isn't there any bodycam footage of Kodak's arrest, which the celebrity news site reported only went down because police spotted the rapper's infant son surrounded by guns and drugs during an Instagram Live session. Cohen also wants to know why a gang task force was used to handle said arrest.

Last Thursday (Jan. 18), the 20-year-old was arrested on seven charges, including grand theft of a firearm, child neglect without great bodily harm, two charges of possession of a weapon or ammo by a Florida delinquent adult felon, possession of cannabis over 20 gram and two counts of parole violation.

Kodak, who dropped two projects in 2017 and had released from jail for probation violation last spring, now sits in Broward County Main Jail. His most recent arrest is at least the third time he's been put in cuffs since the spring of 2016, a year that also accused of sexual assault.
