Kodak Black has generally kept a low profile since getting released from jail last month, but last night (Sept. 7), the controversial Florida rapper broke out of his quiet streak when he jumped into a wild rant on the streets of Los Angeles.

In the rant, which appeared to be directed at TMZ, Kodak proclaims his street credentials as he shouts in the street. TMZ caught the shouting session on camera and it's pretty wild.

"They finally let a real street nigga in the industry. ...Broward County, 9-5-4," he says. "Florida. Real nigga from Florida, young nigga, 1997. Gemini baby."

It's unclear what, exactly, spurred Kodak's rant, but there's a chance he was just frustrated by TMZ's presence. At an earlier point of the video, he seemingly mocks the outlet and The Shade Room.

"I'm bussin' doors down, what's up?" Kodak says. "Put that on TMZ, put that on The Shade Room."

Kodak Black, whose most recent jail stint came as a result of weapons and drug conviction he got this past spring, was followed by police during his rant. Ultimately, though, the rapper made it away from the scene without being detained.

This video surfaces just a week or so after Kodak hit the studio with Bruno Mars, which was something that surprised a lot of people. This past Thursday, videos of Kodak and Travis Scott in the studio also hit the internet. It looks like he's been keeping himself busy. Here's to hoping he drops some dope new music soon.
