Master P is already the owner of his own basketball league but the rapper is willing to get into the football business if Colin Kaepernick needs his help.

During an interview with TMZ, Master P discussed the free agent quarterback and said the only way for him to get back into the NFL is if "we start owning things." The rapper added, "Without real ownership, you have no control."

The No Limit Records founder went on to say that if the quarterback was looking to stay in shape, he could join his Global Mixed Gender Basketball league, or he could help him start a football league of his own. "I'll help him start his own league," Master P said. "Maybe that's what I might do next – start the football next."

On March 3, 2017, Kaepernick opted out of his contract with the San Francisco 49ers. Since then, the quarterback has remained a free agent, receiving only one workout with the Seattle Seahawks.

The former 49ers star recently filed a grievance against the NFL for collusion. According to the filing, the NFL and its owners "have colluded to deprive Mr. Kaepernick of employment rights in retaliation for Mr. Kaepernick's leadership and advocacy for equality and social justice and his bringing awareness to peculiar institutions still undermining racial equality in the United States."

While Kaepernick may have no supporters in the NFL front offices, the quarterback does have the support of many rappers. During a performance on Saturday Night Live, JAY-Z took the stage sporting a custom Kaepernick jersey. And during Eminem's freestyle at the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards, the Detroit rapper gave a shoutout, rapping, "This is for Colin, ball up a fist."
