And just like that, Nick Cannon has offered up a response to Kanye West's Instagram video telling him to refrain from speaking on cheating rumors surrounding Yeezy's wife, Kim Kardashian-West.

In two new videos Cannon posted to his Instagram account today (Sept. 20), the rapper-actor-comedian makes it clear he's not going to hold his tongue about matters concerning Kim K, who he dated years back. Being the lighthearted guy he is, the Wild 'N Out creator starts things off with a bit of comedy, referencing the figurative "sunken place" 'Ye acknowledged he'd come out of in his initial Cannon-directed IG post.

"First off, let me say, welcome back 'Ye, from the sunken place. It's a beautiful thing, glad you're back with us brother," Cannon says in a self-shot video he took as he arrived in Houston. "Nothing but love and respect for you, you know I always had that."

He continues, "But I honestly gotta say this my dude: I never said anything disrespectful or harmful, in my opinion, to your marriage or your union, I salute it, keep it going. But you not gon' tell me what I can and what I can't say. I'm a solid individual. Somebody asks me a question, I'ma answer it to the best of my ability. I'm gon' give them my opinion."

Jumping back a bit, the opinion Cannon speaks of is the statement he gave theorizing that Kim K could have cheated on 'Ye with Drake. Earlier today, Yeezy vented his frustrations with Cannon, telling him that he needed to refrain from speaking on Kim Kardashian.

In a second video, Nick Cannon invites Yeezy to appear on the 200th episode of Wild 'N Out to sort out their differences. "Let's talk about it man, come on the show, show that it's all love, man. Like I said, I ain't say nothing disrespectful. We can have a good time with this, you know what I'm saying? It can be Mariah [Carey] jokes, Kim jokes, all that."

Cannon continues, "You done came and took the comedy championship belt a couple times. Come back for that 200th episode. We can get to it, 'cause, in all seriousness, man, I got nothing but love for you, but I'ma always speak my mind just like you always speak yours. And you know, not you, not NBC, not no corporate infrastructures, no one is ever gonna control what I say 'cause I speak truth always. Love."
