Do you ever find yourself committing one of your own pet peeves? For years, I've had an issue with grabbing a bottle of water, drinking half-to-three-fourths of it and leaving it on my desk only to grab a new bottle of water the next time I'm thirsty. The reason for this? I love cold water.

Once the water sits on my desk for a few hours, it's room temperature. The obvious solution would be to return the not-yet-finished bottle to the fridge where I got it. It's a little more complicated than that. My bottled water supply is stored in my boss's mini fridge, so I'd feel weird returning an opened, half-full bottle of water to his fridge.

We do have a staff fridge, but I really don't use it (I've found food in there from the Clinton administration).

I should clarify, all water is consumed and no water was wasted in the creation of this blog post. The person who truly suffers from my lack of dedication to finishing one bottle of water before moving onto the next is Chris Farber - who has had to move numerous bottles of water I've left in the Y105 studio out of the way.
