R.I.P. Rick Ducommun

Actor Rick Ducommun has died at age 58. He's an actor you may have never heard of but you almost certainly have seen. Ducommun co-starred with Tom Hanks in The 'Burbs and also appeared in Ghost in the Machine, Gremlins 2 and Scary Movie.

Because I just watched this movie, I also remember him as Gus in Groundhog Day. It's roles like that that sum up Ducommun's career - a solid character actor who was in some popular movies (Spaceballs, Die Hard, The Hunt for Red October to name a few more) and would cause you to go "oh THAT guy!" when you see the above picture of him.
