Black Panther finally hit theaters on Thursday (Feb. 15) and quickly became a box office hit. With tickets for opening week being hard to come by, Top Dawg Entertainment founder Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith is making sure children in Los Angeles have a chance to see the film.

The TDE founder, who's responsible for bringing the talents of Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul, among others, to the mainstream, is teaming up with Interscope Records to send 1,000 kids from various housing projects in the Watts area of L.A. to see Black Panther on Saturday, Billboard reports. Transportation to the theaters will be provided by the L.A. Unified School District.

Along with Kendrick Lamar, Top Dawg also helped produce Black Panther: The Album, the movie's soundtrack. Top Dawg spoke highly of the collaboration with Marvel Studios, saying, "Working on such a powerful movie is a great opportunity. We're always working on new goals at TDE, so teaming up with Disney, Marvel Studios and the Black Panther film makes perfect sense."

K. Dot also praised the film, adding, “Marvel Studios’ Black Panther is amazing, from its cast to its director. The magnitude of this film showcases a great marriage of art and culture. I'm truly honored to contribute my knowledge of producing sound and writing music alongside Ryan [Coogler] and Marvel's vision."

Released on Feb. 9, Black Panther: The Album includes contributions from The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Future, Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, SOB x RBE, 2 Chainz, Swae Lee, ScHoolboy Q, SZA and many more. The soundtrack features the singles "Pray for Me" and "King's Dead."
