A source close to Travis Scott says the rapper did not encourage a fan to jump off the balcony at his April 30 show in New York. A fan at Sunday's concert jumped from the third story balcony, injuring himself in a move that possibly left him with a broken leg and fractured back.

The "Goosebumps" artist told fans to form a net for other fans to jump off the second story balcony, but Scott never said it was safe to jump from the next floor. Scott's team is in touch with the fan and investigating the incident, according to TMZ.

“The safety of everyone is held in the highest regard and we are currently conducting an internal investigation to ensure that this does not happen again," a spokesperson for Scott tells XXL. "We are deeply concerned about the guest who was injured and intend to offer him our support.”

The fan's injury might force Scott to tone down his antics on Kendrick Lamar's DAMN. tour, which is scheduled to begin this summer. Scott will join K. Dot and D.R.A.M. on the road in July for the 17-city tour. Check out all of the dates below.
