Wake Up: Unplugged! Meet Steve McIntyre

This morning stay tuned for our latest installment of Wake Up: Unplugged.  This week we meet local artist Steve McIntyre.

Steve started playing out of college around Northern Arizona in the 1970s for extra school money.  After college he took a long break from music due to other career choices but felt he always had music in his soul.

In 2006, Steve came back to the music scene and started gigging regularly around the tri-states at coffee shops, bars, wineries and restaurants.

His sound is more Americana while he leans over the blues/folk side of things.

Steve's catalog includes popular songs of the 60s and 70s and has over 7 hours of music in his repertoire.  He also frequently plays with other musicians from around the area.

He'll be performing at Hotel Julien tonight (4/28) from 8 to 11pm, at Woodbine Bend Golf Course Restaurant on May 6th from 6 to 9 in Stockton and again at the Riverboat Lounge on May 10th from 7 to 10pm.
