Well, it's official.  Bruce and I have filled out our paperwork and are ready to roll this Saturday at Farrell's Extreme Bodyshaping at 4099 McDonald Drive.

This morning we invited Kip and Laci in from Farrell's to tell us about what to expect as we start our 10-week challenge.  For my own amusement I asked them to show me (using Bruce) what kind of exercises we might be using.

I have to admit, I am a little nervous about what's to come.  Will it be hard?  Will I be able to keep up?

Kip and Laci assured us we'd do fine and after our conversation my anxiety has turned into excitement for what's to come.

We were told the first day we'll have a fitness assessment to see where we're at.  (At the end you do this again to see what progress you've made.)  We'll also learn some basic nutrition so we have a plan to help us in our journey to better health and fitness.

Laci had Bruce throw some jabs that we'll use while kickboxing.  Then Kip had Bruce do some crazy exercise where you drop to the floor for a push-up, then jump up and reach in the air.  (I would have liked to share a photo of that but I was laughing too hard to take the pic!)

How did Bruce celebrate his first session?  A huge lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings.

We're definitely in for an adventure, so I'll be sure to give you regular updates.
