While fans wait for the release of Wiz Khalifa's Rolling Papers 2 project, the Pittsburgh rapper dropped off some behind-the-scenes footage featuring unreleased music on Monday (Oct. 9).

Titled DayToday, the nearly nine-minute long movie begins with Wiz in the studio, working with his team on a new song. Rapping over a smooth beat, the rapper puts the finishing touches on what appears to be the song's hook, singing, "Look what you did to me/Look what you did to me."

Elsewhere in the film, Wiz has an in-depth conversation with Pharrell about creating albums. After being asked by Khalifa if his process for making projects has remained the same, the producer says no, revealing he is no longer "super impulsive." Pharrell added, "I didn't think things out."

While Wiz didn't reveal where the songs in the film would end up, he did reveal his next release would be an album. When asked by a fan on Twitter if he would be "dropping a whole mixtape before the album," Wiz said, "Just the album."

Ahead of the release of Rolling Papers 2Khalifa surprised fans in June when he released Pre-RolledsThe four-song EP featured appearances from fellow Taylor Gang members Chevy Woods and Kris Hollis and was produced by Sledgren.

The rapper also recently found himself in the news when he made a risqué gesture at a Major League Baseball game. While throwing out the first pitch at the Pittsburgh Pirates game at PNC Park, Wiz sported a shirt that read "Legalize It" and capped off his pitch by pretending to smoke a joint.

MLB caught wind of the stunt and released the following statement: "Marijuana is probated substance in all of our drug programs. It's unfortunate this situation occurred. The #Pirates have informed us that this should not have happened."
