2 Chainz may be a platinum-selling rapper now but before his hip-hop career took off, the "It's a Vibe" artist was a standout basketball player in high school and played Division 1 college basketball.

While it's yet to be seen if 2 Chainz's 2-year-old son Halo will follow in his father's rap footsteps, the young child already seems to have taken after his love for basketball. On Wednesday (Jan. 10), the rapper posted a video on Instagram of his son watching NBA games on his tablet.

"My son rather watch hoops in the morning than watch cartoons!!!" 2 Chainz wrote in the caption. The rapper also praised his son's love for defense after the boy could be heard saying, "That defense!" 2 Chainz added, "Good to know he likes defense too cause I never did haha."

In related 2 Chainz news, the Pretty Girls Like Trap Music rapper was recently featured on Eminem's "Chloraseptic (Remix)" after being left off the album version. 2 Chainz said he originally was featured on the Revival version of the track, which was later confirmed by Phresher.

"They were like, 'Oh you know, 2 Chainz is on the record too. Listen to his verse.' And I'm like, now we're playing," Phresher said during an interview with This Is 50.
