21 Savage wishes nothing but the best for Kodak Black, but even he knows the law is the law.

Last night (May 20), TMZ caught the Atlanta rapper leaving TAO in Hollywood, Calif. and asked him what he thinks about Kodak Black's legal woes. Off rip, 21 made it clear that his legal troubles are completely different than Kodak's. He wants the best outcome for the Florida rapper, but he also understands that some people aren't too smart when it comes to the law.

"The law is the law," 21 Savage told the celebrity gossip site. "You break the law, you gotta deal with the consequences. That's just how it goes. Rappers just got to be more safe. Some rappers do make bad decisions. They just got to own up to their bad decisions and face our trials or whatever we go through—our tribulations. We just got to stand up and man up to them."

21 doesn't seem to truly respond to the interviewer's questions about cops allegedly setting up hip-hop artists. Instead, the rapper, who was arrested by the U.S. Immigration Customs Enforcement back in February, agrees that there are some unfair cases. However, for the most part, 21 feels like other recent cases were investigated correctly.

"It's some unfair shit going on and it's some fair shit going on. Both of 'em," 21 concluded.

While 21 Savage's immigration status has yet to be determined, Kodak Black is still in custody for federal firearm charges. Before his scheduled set at Rolling Loud in Miami, Kodak was arrested for allegedly lying about his pending felony investigation on paperwork to obtain a gun. He has also reportedly been tied to a shooting near Florida's Golden Acres community, which is where he grew up.
