Ant-Man might be the Marvel headliner with the shortest (heh) shrift; unceremoniously introduced at the end of Phase 2, and given a thankless return in Civil War. You might say he and The Wasp are busy gearing up for a sequel, but Disney XD has helpfully stepped in to bring new Ant-Man animated shorts to TV as early as next month.

Entertainment Weekly reveals that the same Passion Pictures studios behind Gorillaz and the recent Rocket and Groot shorts will also bring us six new two-minute Ant-Man adventures. Spectacular Spider-Man and Voltron voice Josh Keaton will portray the title character, who will “fight evil alongside the Wasp and Hank Pym. He’ll score occasional breaks to help daughter Cassie with her homework.”

The shorts will premiere June 10 and June 11 on Disney XD, and you can get a sample of the artwork below:

Ugo Bienvenu and Kevin Manach directed the shorts, with writing by Brian Wysol, as executive produced by Alan Fine, Dan Buckley, Joe Quesada, Cort Lane, Stephen Wacker, and Stan Lee. We’ll likely see snippets before long, so stay tuned for the latest on Marvel’s new Ant-Man shorts.
