No act, group or otherwise, transforms a late night stage quite like A$AP Mob, who turned the Late Show With Stephen Colbert set into a psych ward Thursday evening (Jan. 12) for a performance of "Crazy Brazy." A small broom doubles as Rocky's microphone stand and a nurse takes his temperature mid-song for a chaotic but otherwise captivating rendition of the Cozy Tapes Vol 1: Friends cut.

Compare the above performance with the one the group gave in July on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and it's clear the artistic vision extends well beyond the music. Performing "Yamborghini High," also off Cozy Tapes Vol 1, the crew was outfit in head-to-toe camo, a runway taking center stage with rubble on either side. There was a television with video games set up, skateboard tricks and an overall aesthetic similar to the track’s video. The changing colors of the video are even emulated as flashes of different colored light are cast over the crew, and for "Crazy Brazy" they employ a similar effect, the visuals becoming momentarily warped before certain cuts.

The Mob will be in full force come Wednesday when they hold their second annual Yams Day concert at The Theater in Madison Square Garden. The lineup features Rocky, Ferg, Danny Brown, Top Dawg Entertainment, Joey Badass, Lil Uzi Vert, Flatbush Zombies, Playboi Carti, Cam’ron, Kirk Knight, Retch, T-Pain and Sha Hef. It all goes down Jan. 18 with tickets on sale now.
