Another Friday, another amazing week of dope new music to soundtrack a function or a chill day by the pool. As per usual, XXL's compiled a list of ten of the very best new songs released over the last week.

Following reports that he'd be dropping off a new album, Chance The Rapper pulled up with four dope new songs ("I Might Need Security," "Workout," "Wala Cam" and "65th & Ingleside"). While Chano's sharp, critic-directed quips and a clever Jaimie Fox sample make "I Might Need Security" great, we opted for the feel-good, melodic stylings of "Workout."

Next up we have Migos, who delivered a Peach State all-star remix of "Drip," a track they originally featured on for Cardi B's debut album, Invasion of Privacy. For this one, the Georgia trio tap Future, Young Thug and Hoodrich Pablo Juan, three artists also hailing from the Atlanta Metropolitan area. Offset and Takeoff's verses on the track are unchanged, while Quavo's verse is a new one. This is a remix we're glad to have.

Also serving up a fire new remix was Tyler, The Creator, who made Lil Baby and Drake's "Yes Indeed" his latest conquest. Though his version ("Bronco") checks in at less than a minute, his seamless adoption of Drizzy's run-on sentence flow make this one a necessary inclusion on our list. Keep killing 'em, Tyler.

Popping back up to prep his Trap Star Turnt Pop Star album, PnB Rock also pulled up with an audio treat when he dropped "ABCD (Friend Zone)." With a well-placed interpolation of Aaliyah's "Are You That Somebody" and his typically smooth vocals on full display, "ABCD (Friend Zone)" is a winner.

"Love & Drugz II" is also a winner. That track comes from Kodie Shane and 2018 XXL Freshman Trippie Redd and it finds both artists musing on the complications of romance and drugs as they cruise over a sensuous OZ-produced soundbed. Kodie and Trippie's latest collab is a sequel to their 2016 cut, "Love & Drugz," and the follow-up is definitely a great one.

Keeping with the sensuous R&B tunes, 24hrs and Ty Dolla $ign, known collectively as the duo 24 Dollas, dropped off a smooth new tune by the name of "Still Down." Trading verses about the cycle of a bumpy relationship, 24hrs and Ty are the hip-hop/R&B tandem we didn't know we needed.

Taking things to a lighter part of the musical spectrum is none other than Plies, who pulled up with a hilarious remix of Drake's chart-topping song, "In My Feelings," earlier this week. The Florida rapper's version, which is titled "In My Feelings Becky (Plies Edition)," finds the rapper playfully questioning the romantic loyalty of a girl named Becky, who is probably just a symbol of the submissive sort of woman Plies refers to in his 2009 single, "Becky."

Heading out to the grittier end of things are RedAngel and Nef The Pharaoh, who both recall court appearances on their to-the-point track, "Going to Trial." With specific lyrics that hit right on all the thoughts and concerns faced by someone facing time behind bars, the track is as pure rap as it gets.

If you didn't know, G.O.O.D Music's own Valee is a serious problem. The latest reminder of that comes in the form of "Loading," another audio showcase for the talented Chicago artist's drowsy luxury raps. Here's to hoping he releases a new project soon.

Talking that talk in a way only he can, Shy Glizzy also came through with some new fire. This new track is called "Vlone," and with casually threatening lyrics and plenty of bravado, it definitely slaps.
