Blac Chyna Responds to Rob Kardashian’s Revenge Porn, Wins Restraining Order
For the first time since her ex-husband Rob Kardashian violated the law (and practically every social code in the book) by posting nude photos of her without her consent, Blac Chyna has publicly spoken about the incident.
In an exclusive interview with Good Morning America, the star spoke about her extreme dismay over Kardashian's actions.
"How could somebody, like, post these pictures of me and I'm like, 'Wow, OK.' Like, this is a person that I trusted, I confide in," she said. "I had felt comfortable, you know, with even sending these pictures and even talking to him about certain things, you know. I felt...betrayed."
In what has colloquially and appropriately come to be known as "revenge porn," Kardashian posted several (since-deleted) photos of Chyna across his social media accounts in a rampage apparently motivated by his suspicions of infidelity.
Chyna responded by alleging domestic abuse via her Snapchat. Now, her public statement comes on the same day that she took Kardashian to court to file a restraining order against him. In a statement released announcing the decision, Chyna's lawyer Lisa Bloom boldly declared it as "an important civil rights issue."
Chyna has seen an outpouring of support, both from those who call themselves her fans and from those who more simply identify as haters of Kardashian.
Besides the fact that his actions are illegal in 24 states, they're also more simply way out of line, regardless of whether or not Chyna had extramarital affairs. Luckily, the courts agreed and granted the restraining order. In a statement to reporters after the decision was released, she simply said that she was looking forward to focusing on caring for the daughter she had with Kardashian: "I would like first and foremost to thank the judge for giving me the restraining order to protect me. Now I’m going to get back to co-parenting Dream.”
