Boosie BadAzz had a rough weekend, as he was reportedly pepper sprayed while shopping at a Dillard's department store in Biloxi, Miss.

The Baton Rouge rapper went inside of the department store on Sunday afternoon (April 9), where he was followed by a large crowd while inside of the department store. According to the Sun Herald, the Southern MC, formerly known as Lil Boosie, was looking around in the Polo Ralph Lauren section when a loss prevention officer reportedly maced him in the face.

A source revealed to the outlet that the loss prevention officer became irate with the rapper after he pulled in the overwhelming crowd, demanding him to leave the store. While the source claims that Boosie was "really quiet" as the fans were calling out his name and chanting at him with praise, the entertainer still managed to get hit by the pepper spray blow. Video of the incident, recorded by a fan, can be seen below.

A few men from Boosie's crew were reportedly arrested on simple assault charges connected the incident.

The rapper was in town for Biloxi's Black Beach Weekend, which he performed at on Saturday evening (April 8). At least he didn't miss the show like he previously had to due to being hospitalized.

Hopefully, the rapper is okay following the incident. XXL has reached out to Atlantic Records for comment.
