CeeLo Green's Gnarly Davidson persona has taken him down a strange path. Just a few days after rocking a gold costume to the 2017 Grammy Awards, CeeLo releases an ode to Beyoncé called "Jay Z's Girl."

The track is a remake of Rick Springfield's hit single "Jessie's Girl." The accompanying video features Little Fun, the same star as his "Fuck Me, I'm Famous" video, but this time he's in a room full of Beyoncé posters. If you think the premise is ridiculous, just wait until you get a dose of CeeLo's lyrics.

“He’s got all the cash/All I got is a pocket full of ones/But I’m watching the game, soaking it up like a sponge/Yeah, she’s cute, but it just won’t be the same with Solange/He wears his hat down over his eyes/And he’s smooching her with those lips, I just know it/Driving her around in his Maybach late at night/Don’t cha know I want Jay Z’s girl,” CeeLo sings.

"Jay Z's Girl" is the latest release under CeeLo's Gnarly Davidson moniker, which he debuted in December 2016. A few weeks ago, the Goodie Mob member issued a bizarre statement to XXL when asked for a comment about his new character.

“Look at me… LOOK AT ME! YOU DID THIS TO ME CEELO GREEN, YOU FUCKING IDIOT. BUT I LIKE IT, I’m actually…BETTER! Than you… than everyone!" CeeLo said. "A karmikaze upon you! Vengeance is mine sayeth GNARLY DAVIDSON. P.S. TECHNOLOJESUS saves.”

CeeLo is no stranger to odd creations, but Gnarly Davidson might be his weirdest one yet.
