With the growing popularity of Bitcoin, the community surrounding cryptocurrency, a decentralized form of digital capital, is being explored more than ever. One of those explorers are the reporters at The New York Times, who recently discovered a rapper by the name of CoinDaddy when looking into one group of cryptocurrency leaders.

According to their report, CoinDaddy, who rocks a flowing, white faux mink coat, shoes with gold heels and a stereotypical pimp hat, is a 28-year-old former real estate agent by the name of Arya Bahmanyar. Apparently, the rapper, who calls himself a "crypto-millionaire," began working full-time as CoinDaddy after he struck it big in the cryptocurrency world.

At the time of the interview, CoinDaddy said he was looking to bring crypto culture to the world at large. “Right now all our entertainers come from outside crypto culture—not inside crypto, and we’ve got to change that,” he explained at a San Francisco Bitcoin meet-up Holiday Party.

CoinDaddy is also looking to shoot a video for a song called “Lambo Party" and another called “Cryptomom.” You can listen to his track "BTC Trader" below.

Check out a video of CoinDaddy for yourself below. In it, he's showing off his New York Times story.
