Diddy Congratulates Ex-Girlfriend Cassie on Pregnancy
On Friday (June 14), the Bad Boy Records mogul went on his Instagram account to send best wishes to his ex-girlfriend Cassie on her pregnancy. In his post, he shared a photo of Cassie and her new boo, celebrity trainer Alex Fine, embracing each other with love and happiness in their eyes.
In the caption, Diddy wrote, “Congratulations @Cassie and Alex. I wish you all nothing but love and happiness. God bless...L O V E.”
On Thursday (June 13), Cassie jumped on her IG page to announce that she is pregnant with her and Alex's first child together. She also revealed the baby’s gender. “Can’t wait to meet our baby girl...Love You Always & Forever,” Cassie wrote.
In an interview with Us Weekly, the R&B singer said she and her boyfriend are excited about their new addition. “We are so happy and thankful to be starting our family,” Cassie said.
Diddy and Cassie reportedly split in 2017. The couple met in the early 2000s after Cassie signed to Bad Boy Records. The pair have collaborated musically on a few songs, including on Diddy's 2008 banger “Swagga Like Puff” and her 2009 ballad “Must Be Love.”
