DJ Khaled's book The Keys is out next week, and the music mogul and budding author took a little time to reflect on all that he's accomplished this past year, including welcoming his first child to the world last month. Khaled posted the above photo of himself with President Obama, thanking him for the blessings he had given him earlier in the year.

"It was a honor to stand beside our president Mr. Obama," Khaled wrote. "President Obama I want to say thank you for your blessings. I'm a father now. My son has changed my life and is changing me everyday. I'm gonna show him this picture when he's older and tell him son that's your father standing with the president of the United States. Thank you President Obama. Bless up."

While Khaled doesn't say when the photo was taken, he was one of many hip-hop figures to visit the White House in April to discuss criminal justice reform and the My Brother’s Keeper initiative with the President. Khaled's landmark year was propelled by his emergence as a social media star, his album Major Key becoming his first to land atop the Billboard 200 chart. That album as well produced one platinum single, "For Free" with Drake," and one gold, "I Got The Keys" featuring Jay Z and Future.

The Keys will drop Nov. 22, with Khaled sharing a chapter late last month.
