Ever since they created a smash hit together with "Crew Love" back in 2011, Drake and The Weeknd fans have eagerly been hoping for another collaboration. During his headlining set at the 2017 OVO Fest last night (Aug. 7), Drizzy actually put Abel on the spot about doing an OVOXO project together.

"I want you to understand what this is," Drake tells The Weeknd. "First of all, I don't want to do this to you on stage, but I feel like that OVOXO project has to happen at some point. I just want to say that."

The Weeknd appears to show delight to Drake's public pitch, but we'll have to see if they actually get together to work on it in the future.

This is far from the first time the "Fake Love" entertainer has teased a joint project with another superstar. Kanye West revealed last year that he was working on a joint album with Drake, but unfortunately, it hasn't seen the light of day since Yeezy's hospitalization.

Watch Drake tell The Weeknd they need to do an OVOXO project in the future in the video below.
