Eminem has been relatively quiet on social media. That is, until today.

On Wednesday (Aug. 28), Em went on his Twitter page and tweeted a cryptic message to his 22 million followers.

“People think they want this problem 'til they get it,” he wrote.

Slim Shady’s mysterious tweet has caused some people to speculate that it was aimed at Lord Jamar, who has been very critical of the Detroit MC. In a recent VLADTV interview, Jamar said that Black people don’t listen to Eminem.

"We don’t listen to Eminem. We don’t go to the gym and turn on Eminem," he said. "We don’t listen to him on the way to the club. We don’t play him in the club...now, corny places I can’t speak for that.”

This prompted fellow Detroit rapper and Em's friend Royce Da 5’9" to slam Jamar in an Instagram video. In the clip, Royce took issue with the former Brand Nubian MC's remarks and feels that he is not qualified to critique about Eminem's respectability in the 'hood.

Lord Jamar was among several rappers Eminem dissed on “Fall” from his 2018 album Kamikaze.

In the song, Em delivered several lyrical darts at Jamar rapping, "And far as Lord Jamar, you better leave me the hell alone/Or I'll show you an Elvis clone/Walk up in this house you own, thrust my pelvic bone/Use your telephone and go fetch me the remote/Put my feet up and just make myself at home/I belong here, clown, don't tell me 'bout the culture."
