French Montana, DJ Khaled Among Spotify’s 30 Most Streamed Songs of Summer 2017

It has been a major year on the charts for French Montana and DJ Khaled, and now the two are making Spotify history. The two hitmakers are included on the list of Spotify's 30 most-streamed songs of summer 2017, which was unveiled by the company this week.

French's "Unforgettable" record with Swae Lee comes in at No. 3 on the service's Global Top 30 Songs of the Summer list, as well as No. 4 on the U.S. list. DJ Khaled lands two records on both lists, with "Wild Thoughts" featuring Rihanna and Bryson Tiller being featured at No. 2 on the global list and No. 3 on the U.S. list, while "I'm the One" with Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance The Rapper and Lil Wayne at No. 4 on the global list and No. 6 on the U.S. list.

Landing the top spot on both lists is Daddy Yankee and Luis Fonsi's "Despacito (Remix)" featuring Justin Bieber, which was snubbed of the win in the Song of the Summer category at the 2017 MTV VMAs this past weekend.

Hip-hop also takes over the U.S. most-streamed list of the summer, as it contains 21 Savage's "Bank Account," Kendrick Lamar's "Humble," Post Malone's "Congratulations" with Quavo, Childish Gambino's "Redbone," and Lil Uzi Vert's "XO TOUR Liif3."
