Nearly 300 Tattoo Artists Will Come to Iowa for a Huge Convention This Spring

Talented tattoo artists from across the U.S. will be uniting in Iowa this April! The 2025 Middle of the Map Tattoo Convention is set April 4th through 6th at Hy-Vee Hall in Des Moines.

The Middle of the Map Tattoo Convention is a "one-of-a-kind event" that includes all sorts of tattoo competitions, live music, seminars, and lots of incredible artists doing live tattooing. The weekend will be hosted by Bernadette Macias, and will features other special guests, including:

  • DJ Tambe
  • Teresa Sharpe
  • Stefano Alcantara
  • Dave Koenig
  • Joshua Bowers
  • Gunnar
  • Scotty Munster
  • Jonathan Penchoff
  • Bobby Johnson
  • Dominic Holmes
  • Paul Nycz
  • Nathan Evans

There are TONS of tattoo artists and shops from all over the country that will be represented at this year's convention. Here are some of the artists here in Eastern Iowa that will be there:

Tickets are on sale now for the 2025 Middle of the Map Tattoo Convention. The event's hours are:

  • Friday, April 4th from 2 p.m. to midnight
  • Saturday, April 5th from 11 a.m. to midnight
  • Sunday, April 6th from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
