The Anamosa Theisens store is on the move. Fortunately, the store doesn't have far to go!

KCRG reports that Theisens Home, Farm, and Auto in Anamosa will be moving from its current location, across the street to 102 Chamber Drive. Theisen's regional headquarters in Dubuque announced the move for the Anamosa store, as well as the addition of a store in Ripon, Wisconsin, and a 17,000-square-foot expansion to its Pella store. That expansion is expected to be done by this fall.

The new building that Theisens will be moving to used to be the home of the National Motorcycle Museum. The museum closed in September of 2023 due to financial struggles, according to the Des Moines Register. The extensive collection of antique motorcycles was auctioned off to cover bills.

KCRG reports that moving the Theisens store to that new location will allow the store to stock more products and feature a new store layout.

A Theisen's official stated that they hope the move to the bigger building will be completed by the middle of July. Plans for the old Anamosa Theisens store are still being discussed.
