Iowa’s American Idol Winner To Perform in Dubuque November 21st!
Iowa native Maddie Poppe, best known for winning season 16 of American Idol, is set to bring her musical talents back to her home state with an intimate performance at Her Night Out, an annual event that celebrates community, fashion, and entertainment. The event will take place on Thursday, November 21st, from 4 to 9 PM at Dubuque’s Five Flags Center. Poppe, now based in Nashville, is excited to perform for her Iowa fans, who have been loyal and supportive throughout her journey from small-town Clarksville singer to a national sensation.
The evening promises a unique Nashville-themed experience, complete with shopping opportunities from local vendors, a BBQ buffet dinner, and a cash bar. Attendees are encouraged to dress the part (Nashville-style), as prizes will be awarded for the best-dressed individual and group.
Poppe’s performance will feature her original music, including songs from her acclaimed albums Whirlwind and Christmas from Home, as well as popular hits that showcase her signature folksy, singer-songwriter style. Since her debut on American Idol, Poppe has released three albums, with Whirlwind reaching No. 2 on the iTunes Pop charts, solidifying her place in the pop and folk music scene.
Beyond her music career, Poppe has become a popular figure on national television, appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Kelly Clarkson Show, and Good Morning America. Her fan-favorite Christmas tour has also become an annual tradition, adding to her appeal as a versatile and relatable artist, especially to her Iowa fanbase.
Tickets for Her Night Out are $50 for general admission or $550 for a “girlfriend table,” with all attendees aged 12 and over welcome to join. With door prizes from each vendor and grand prizes include items from Rhomberg Fur & Leather Gallery and Riddle's Jewelry, the event promises something for everyone.
