My family and I are big animal lovers. We do anything we can to help them when we can. Our group never wants to see our furry friends experience any suffering so we support pet and animal rescue programs. Animals help make our lives get better.

Animal rescue programs are great. They can care for animals when needed. They can also find new permanent homes from them. You hear about animal rescues for dogs, cats, and other wild animals. I've never heard of one for a pig. I hope the pigs get love too.

I would think there is a high demand for a pig rescue in Illinois because of all the farms. Plus, many people nowadays keep pigs as pets. I have a couple of friends who have pet pigs and they're awesome. They fit the role nicely.

I did a little research and I did find a pig rescue program in Illinois. It's called Chicagoland Pig Rescue. They provide some amazing services. The group will lead a boots-on-the-ground rescue. They offer sanctuary support and finally coaching classes for new pig owners are available.

In the past year alone, Chicagoland Pig Rescue has saved the lives of 271 pigs. They will work with large or small pigs and everything in between. Also, the organization will travel to other states to save pigs. A place like this makes me happy.
