Drake gave a revealing interview during a sit down with DJ Semtex this past weekend, discussing, among other things, his relationship with Kanye West. The two larger than life rappers were set to release a joint project together, mysterious billboards popping up, but then during a Saint Pablo show in Sacramento in November, Kanye seemed to suggest that Drake was taking airtime away from more worthy artists.

“I think everybody has their own little things going on," Drake said of the comments. "I’m not really sure what he’s referring to half the time, because in the same breath, I went from being… like working on a project with him, to him sorta publicly shitting on me and DJ Khaled for being on the radio too much.”

Now, in a new video obtained by X17 and included below, Kanye denies saying that Drake's music is overplayed. His original comment included, "Radio, fuck you! I know it’s a lot of real niggas working at radio, real people, real programming directors with wives and kids that love music, that can’t play what they want to play because they’ve been paid to play that bullshit over and over and over. And when I say that bullshit, what I’m saying is we love Drake, Drake is great. He’s a great artist. But Frank Ocean is great, too."

Piecing that out, Kanye's chief criticism is that some artists aren't played enough because there is money behind "that bullshit." In mentioning Drake almost immediately, he seems to equate him to such music. "For Free," off Khaled's Major Key album, went platinum this past September.
