Kodak Black may be behind bars, but he's not about to let jail time stop him from suing his baby mama for custody of his son.

According to the folks at Bossip, the 19-year-old rap star says Jammiah Broomfield, who is the mother of his three-year-old son King Khalid, has been demanding money from Kodak every time he asks to see the boy. Apparently Kodak is sick of that treatment, and so he's once again headed to court.

Kodak originally sued to establish paternity last year, but the judge rejected the case because Broomfield, her then-21-year-old boyfriend and her lawyer arrived late to court. Raven Ramona Liberty, who is the Lil Big Pac rapper's lawyer, says Kodak is, under law, entitled to half-custody of Khalid, who he's nicknamed K2. Instead, Liberty says Broomfield has turned Kodak into a human ATM every time he wants to see his son.

Liberty told Bossip that Broomfield didn't even tell Kodak he was Khalid's father until the baby was already a year old. She says Kodak is just trying to do the right thing by being involved in his child's life.

“He’s a stand-up guy,” Liberty told Bossip. “He’s a 19-year-old man who is trying to be there for his son, and this woman is blocking that.”

Kodak has had a very rough last several days. Last week he was arrested for violating his probation. Last August, the "No Flockin" rapper was sentenced to five years of probation for strong arm robbery, false imprisonment, possession of a firearm by a delinquent and fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement.

According to the warrant for his most recent arrest, Kodak failed "to remain confined to his approved residence except for one half hour before and after approved employment, public service work, or any other special activities approved by the officer […] on various times and dates, as evidenced from the pictures on video showing the offender at various places that were not approved.”

Kodak's arrest has reportedly cost him more than  $300,000 because he can't make it to six show's he'd scheduled beforehand.
