Fans of Nicki Minaj are loving the rapper's latest album, Queen, but the New York artist is also receiving praise from one of hip-hop's biggest names. On Sunday (Aug. 12), Lil Wayne hopped on social media to compliment the album, as well as Nicki's skills.

"First of all, I just want to congratulate the beautiful queen, Miss Nicki Minaj, for the album, the beautiful album, Queen, which is, to date, in my opinion, one of her best albums yet," Weezy said, before going on to call Queen one of the best albums from any artist yet.

"I'm not gonna go out there on a limb and say it's her best album, because I can still listen to songs [from] when she was about... when she was a teenager, and I still hear vocals and lyrics from there that to me, the best thing she's ever said in her life," he continued.

"So, I'm specific like that, but to date, it's one of the best albums yet, and I don't mean out of her catalog. I mean period. It is one of the best albums out there period. Just period. And when I say 'yet,' I mean I haven't heard nothing yet better than what I'm hearing from that woman. She is such a queen. What a great title album. She's spittin' her ass off. She goin' crazy on the album."

Nicki appeared to be shocked by Tunechi's video, reposting the clip on her Instagram page. "I can't believe he did this. I'm so emotional," she wrote in the caption. "If you know Wayne, he's very particular about his compliments on rap skills. I've always felt like I was auditioning for him. This is the best thing he's ever said to me. Love you SO MUCH @liltunechi #YOUNGMONEY."

Wayne appears on the Queen track "Rich Sex" and also gets a shout-out on Minaj's The Notorious B.I.G.-inspired "Barbie Dreams." The track, which features Nicki namedropping a number of rappers includes her spitting, "I'm looking for a nigga to give some babies/A hand full of Weezy, sprinkle of Dave East."
