It's been a minute since fans have gotten a full project from Machine Gun Kelly, but they're finally about to get what they've been waiting for. The "Wild Boy" rapper is coming off of a high from the success of his "Bad Things" single, which has been doing numbers on the pop charts over the last couple of months. Following its success, the Cleveland native treated his fans to an album update, revealing the cover art as well as the official release date and title.

MGK's next album, Bloom, is now officially set to release on May 12. The project's cover art is intense, as it sees roses growing into the rapper's hand with thorns bursting out of his skin. Speaking on the artwork, Kelly revealed that the thorns were not photoshopped, but done by an excellent makeup artist. He wrote, "im so stoked on the album cover. the thorns in my hand were done by a special FX make up artist. that wasn't photoshopped." Fans will hopefully be able to preorder the album on iTunes in the next week or so.

While he is dominating the pop charts with "Bad Things" for now, MGK hasn't abandoned urban radio, as he's set to release a track with Quavo and Ty Dolla $ign in the near future. He originally previewed the track during a concert in Los Angeles, which had his loyal fan base in a frenzy.
