From the early days of hip-hop, artists have explored alternate sources of income like successful music apps in Mims' case to a side hustle as VP of creative design at Lotus if you're Swizz Beatz. For Machine Gun Kelly, he's not just stopping at rapping and acting. Reebok announces that MGK has been added to their family in support of the rebirth of their Club C sneaker.

In new promo shots, MGK is seen rocking a white and green coor-way for the kicks. The Club C was originally a tennis shoe released in 1985, but along with other sneakers like Vans Sk8 Highs and Air Force Ones, hip-hop and popular culture have assimilated it into the streets.

Damion Presson, the Director of Global Entertainment Marketing, explains why they brought MGK into the fold “He has such a great energy around him and connection to his fans through his message," Presson states. "His dynamism truly connects to our brand and really comes through in everything he touches."

MGK sounded optimistic about the new endorsement himself. “This is going to be the best summer, not only because of my new album and the tour, but also this partnership with Reebok Classic," the rapper shares. "It’s awesome to have a brand like Reebok support what you stand for as well as your creative vision, and I’m excited to show you what a Reebok and Machine Gun Kelly collaboration is all about.”

MGK joins Future, Teyana Taylor and Rae Sremmurd as a celebrity ambassador for the brand. It's another step in the right direction for his career after he just dropped his third album, BloomHe also appeared in a few movies last year including The Land.

You can catch MGK performing in the Club Cs while he continues to tour throughout Europe and America.
