Macklemore Is Expecting His Second Child

Macklemore's year continues to get better as he recently announced he and his wife are expecting their second child together.

Mack did so via video, which he posted to his Instagram account. In the clip, the "Willy Wonka" rapper starts off addressing his fans. "You guys have been such a huge part of our lives that I wanted to let you in on a little secret," he says. "Tricia is pregnant, and today we are going to find out the gender of our child."

The reveal is supposed to happen when Mack cuts a cake labeled "Boy" on one side and "Girl" on the other. But instead he does a bit of a fake out and pulls a card that announces he will be having a second show at Key Arena. After a big laugh from his family who has assembled to see the announcement, Macklemore admits that his wife is indeed preggers. It appears the due date is Dec. 23.

Back in 2015, Macklemore also shared news of their first daughter with fans on the Internet with a heart-warming video.

The Washington rapper recently dropped his latest solo album, Gemini, which features guest appearances from Offset, Lil Yachty and more. “[With] this album… I was in a good place man," he recently told Zane Lowe. "There’s some darker songs, for sure, but, for the most part, like, if I’m in a happy place and life is good, then that’s gonna be reflected on the album.”
